S. Korean Regime Accused of Its Moves to Conclude GSOMIA with Japan

Pyongyang, July 6 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity for Progress in south Korea released a commentary on July 3 accusing the "government" authorities of its frantic moves to conclude a military agreement with Japan at any cost. The present "government" is attempting to secretly conclude the General Security of Military Information Agreement (GSOMIA) with Japan only to be brought to light, the commentary said, and went on: This case made people keenly realize that pro-Japanese elements in the 21st century are swaggering among the upper crust of power. Despicable actions are going on even after the conclusion of the agreement was put on hold. The "government" authorities are twisting the essence of the issue and playing a trick, creating an impression that there was a problem as regards the procedures for its conclusion. This betrays their intention to conclude it at any cost when the public uproar gets calm. The commentary accused Park Geun Hye and the "Saenuri Party" of calling for re-discussing the agreement at the meeting of the presidium of the "National Assembly", talking about procedures and course. Park Geun Hye and the "Saenuri Party" should clarify their stands as they often claim they are different from the shameless and hypocritical regime accustomed to telling lies to tide over its crisis. All Koreans except a tiny handful of pro-Japanese elements do not regard Japan as an ally. It is nonsensical to conclude a military agreement with Japan keen to realize its old dream of "Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere". |
