Rodong Sinmun Saturday observes in a bylined commentary in this regard:

This amounts to a total denial and open challenge to the compatriots' ideology and social system and vicious political terror aimed at turning the south Korean society into a theater of confrontation of ideologies in a bid to stamp out the progressive and pro-reform forces aspiring after justice and patriotism by linking them with the DPRK.

Referring to the dastardly aim sought through the ruckus for "eliminating forces following the north," the commentary goes on:

By labeling the progressive and pro-reform forces as "pro-north leftist forces" linked with the DPRK, the puppet forces seek to kick off "a coloring offensive" in a bid to mislead the public opinion and achieve their despicable political purpose.

Thrown into a tight corner owing to the strong call of people of various circles for "judging the regime" in the run-up to "presidential election", the group of traitors is noisily trumpeting about "forces following the north" in an effort to calm it down.

Traitor Lee Myung Bak and "the Saenuri Party" are working hard to turn the "election" into a showdown between the "leftist forces following north" and the conservative forces, not showdown between progressive forces and the forces which derailed the "state administration" in a bid to win over the middle-of-the-road forces to their side and escape from the people's judgment.

Facts go to clearly prove that the Lee group's ruckus for "eliminating forces following the north" is nothing but a heinous political offensive to prolong its remaining days and stay the conservative regime in power through escalated confrontation between the north and the south and the crackdown upon the progressive and pro-reform forces.

The puppet conservative group would be well advised to behave itself, mindful that the ruckus is as foolish as falling into the pitfall dug by itself.
