S. Korean Authorities' Suppression of Pro-reunification Champion Blasted

Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) -- As soon as Ro Su Hui, vice-chairman of the South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification (Pomminryon), crossed the demarcation line in Panmunjom on July 5, south Korean gangsters hurled by the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors pounced upon him and dragged him like an animal. They took Ro to Phaju Police Station in Kyonggi Province and are questioning him. Minju Joson Sunday observes in a bylined commentary in this regard: These reckless acts of the Lee group amount to outrageous hysteria to escalate confrontation with fellow countrymen as they are a blatant challenge to the desire and wish of the Koreans for national reconciliation, unity and reunification. The group of traitors is harshly cracking down on the pro-reunification patriot though it is under fire by Koreans for its indelible crimes against the country and the nation, the commentary notes, adding: This is the most horrible barbarism. The group's crackdown on Ro is unprecedented cruel action. Not a few pro-reunification patriotic figures have so far visited Pyongyang and gone back to south Korea via Panmunjom. But it is the first time that such unspeakable brutality was committed without hesitation in the eyes of the world. This indicates the height of confrontation hysteria of the Lee group bereft of reason, to say nothing of justice, conscience, morality and ethics. What merits a serious attention is that the group perpetrated again such hideous provocation as hurting the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK. The Lee group will have to experience what dear price it will have to pay for the above-said crimes. |
