Senior Party and State Officials Pay Tribute to Kim Il Sung

| Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, Choe Yong Rim and other senior party and state officials, the chairperson of a friendly party and officials of party, armed forces and power organs, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions Sunday visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun to pay tribute to President Kim Il Sung on the 18th anniversary of his demise. Seen standing before the statues of Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il was a floral basket in the name of Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK. Also placed there was a floral basket in the name of the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces. A floral basket was laid there in the joint name of the Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the WPK, the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly and the Cabinet of the DPRK. The visitors paid high tribute to the statues. They made bows to Kim Il Sung in the humblest reverence. |
