S. Korean Conservative Media Accused of Distorting Fact
Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) -- Conservative media of south Korea are distorting the fact about Ro Su Hui, vice-chairman of the South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification (Pomminryon), who was arrested by south Korean hooligans after visiting Pyongyang.

In this regard, Ri Pok Sun, department director of the C.C., Journalists Union of Korea, told KCNA:

The south Korean conservative media are now hell-bent on heaping abuses on the vice-chairman, who was taken away like a package to a police station before getting reunion with his wife and children.

The ultra-right conservative media, including Chosun Ilbo, Dong-A Ilbo and Daily NK, linked Ro's Pyongyang visit with "praise" of the DPRK and "accusation" against the Lee Myung Bak regime, while keeping mum about the cruel assaults the hooligans inflicted upon him. On July 6 a day after Ro's arrest, Chosun Ilbo carried an article titled "Why Is Pomminryon Left Intact?"

They have insulted even the dignity of the DPRK supreme leadership and slandered its fair reunification policy, siding with the political gangsters hostile to the reunification champions in the south.

In fact, they are paid servants of power and present-day Nazi media.

In contrary to their outcry over "human rights" and "freedom of thinking", they agitate for the suppression of reunification champions in south Korea, criticizing their patriotic action as "sympathy with the north".

Miserable end is awaiting the conservative, treacherous media seeking confrontation with the fellow countrymen in the north.
