The U.S. often kicks off rows over the human rights issue in the international arena and politicizes it, building up public opinion to internationalize it and put pressure on other countries. This reminds one of a thief crying "Stop the thief!"

The U.S. government authorities pull up the DPRK over the "human rights issue" whenever an opportunity is given. This does not deserve even a passing note as it is an unreasonable assertion like putting the cart before the horse.

Human rights that are neither guaranteed by sovereignty nor can be defended by oneself are little different from the "human rights" of slaves.

Protecting sovereignty precisely means to protect human rights under the present international situation where arbitrariness and unilateralism prevail and the jungle law governs.

Steadfast is the principled stand of the DPRK to counter the U.S. reactionary human rights offensive with the revolutionary one. It is as foolish an act as trying to eclipse the sun with palm that the U.S. is trying to oppress the DPRK with the "human rights" offensive.

The U.S., the tundra of human rights and architect of man-killing, would be well advised to mind its own business before talking about other's "human rights issue".
