Pyongyang, July 9 (KCNA) -- The Central Association of Korean Nationals in Russia made public a statement on Sunday to denounce the south Korean regime for suppressing Ro Su Hui, vice-chairman of the South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification (Pomminryon), and its provocations against the DPRK. The statement recalled that the Lee Myung Bak regime brutally suppressed Ro Su Hui, who returned to south Korea after visiting Pyongyang to express condolences over the great loss to the nation. The Koreans in Russia can hardly repress their resentment against the regime, which set in motion ultra-right conservative groups to dare hurt the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK, timed to coincide with the suppression, it said, and continued: Ro's visit to express condolences over the great loss to the Korean nation as its member was very just and heroic deed which deserves appraisal in the light of ethics, morality and beautiful manners and customs of the Korean people handed down through generations and in view of national reconciliation and unity. The group of traitors is a band of unethical and immoral hooligans as they pounced on Ro crossing the demarcation line of Panmunjom like a pack of wolves and took him away like an animal. The Association bitterly condemns the brutal atrocities of the traitors, demanding them to stop at once the suppression of pro-reunification figures including Ro and the racket to escalate confrontation with fellow countrymen and immediately set them free. The Commonwealth of Independent States Regional Headquarters of Pomminryon also released a statement on Saturday in denunciation of the south Korean regime's fascist suppression of Ro Su Hui and their racket to escalate confrontation with compatriots. |
