The special statement said that four decades have passed since the Koreans were greatly excited to receive the first programme for reunification common to the nation.

It accused the Lee Myung Bak regime of south Korea of bringing the inter-Korean relations to a total collapse and frantically kicking up the racket for confrontation with fellow countrymen in collusion with outside forces in denial of the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration, a programme for reunification common to the nation in the new century which embodied the three principles for national reunification.

It also blasted the south Korean "government" authorities for committing thrice-cursed treachery intended to pave the way for Japan's reinvasion, while working hard to conclude a military agreement with Japan.

The statement condemned the south Korean authorities for becoming more desperate in their moves to intensify the suppression of the pro-reunification patriotic organizations with the return of the vice-chairman of the South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification to south Korea as a momentum.

The June 15 Japan regional committee bitterly denounces the traitorous anti-reunification action taken by the Lee Myung Bak regime for frantically pursuing sycophancy and treachery and confrontation with fellow countrymen in a bid to prolong its remaining days and stay in power.

History clearly shows how miserable the fates of the traitors were, it noted, demanding the present ruling quarters of south Korea make an apology for the crimes against the country and the nation and immediately step down.

The statement called upon all Koreans in the north, the south and abroad to achieve strong solidarity and alliance and turn out in a nationwide struggle to frustrate the anti-reunification moves of the sycophantic and traitorous forces and open up a new phase of independent reunification.
