The Socialist Party of Romania posted on its homepage an article titled "Eternal reverence" on July 4 with a photo of the President meeting former U.S. President Carter.

The article said the President was a peerlessly great man who was deeply respected by the progressive people generation after generation, adding more than 100 preparatory committees were organized throughout the world to celebrate the centenary of his birth, the Day of the Sun, as a significant holiday common to humankind.

On the Day of the Sun this year, many people around the world presented gifts to the President and wrote and published books, articles and poetic works to laud him, it said, adding that events took place in various countries in celebration of his birth anniversary and media of the world gave wide publicity to them.

The Brazilian Committee for Solidarity with the DPRK on July 2 posted on its homepage an article titled "Kim Il Sung, model of international cooperation" illustrated with a portrait of smiling President.

The article said the President deeply respected by the world progressives set an example of genuine cooperation in international relations.

The President was the great father of progressive humankind, it noted.
