Pyongyang, July 11 (KCNA) -- British people held an anti-U.S. demonstration outside the U.S. embassy in London on June 25 to mark the beginning the June 25-July 27 month of anti-U.S. joint struggle. Present there were Andy Brooks, general secretary of the Central Committee of the New Communist Party of Britain, Dermot Hudson, chief of the British Branch of the Korean Friendship Association and chairman of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, and other British figures of political parties and organizations and citizens. The demonstrators condemned the U.S. imperialists' hostile policy toward the DPRK and their moves to ignite a new war, waving the flags of the DPRK. They demanded the U.S. withdraw its forces for aggression from south Korea and replace the Armistice Agreement with a peace accord in order to ensure the lasting peace and stability in the Korean Peninsula and the rest of Northeast Asia. They also lashed out at the U.S. for going reckless in its anti-DPRK smear campaign while pulling up the DPRK over the "human rights" issue and getting hell-bent on the war games against the DPRK in collaboration with the south Korean puppet regime. The demonstrators expressed full support for the Korean people in their struggle to achieve the independent and peaceful reunification of the country. |
