A seminar on ensuring services for reproductive health took place at the Taedonggang Diplomatic Corps Club here on Wednesday.

Present there were officials in the field of public health, ministries, national institutions and working people's organizations and members of missions of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and UNPF.

The seminar was followed by a briefing on the theme of World Population Day in 2012 and presentation on services for reproductive health in the DPRK and experience in services for reproductive health and for family planning, etc.

Introduced were achievements and experience gained in the work to fully improve the reproductive health and future orientation of action.

It was followed by a quiz on common knowledge of reproductive health.

The Population Centre of the DPRK issued a special edition of "Population Newsletter" and conducted various activities to mark the day.
