The traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries were forged by respected H.M. Great King Norodom Sihanouk and H.E. great Generalissimo Kim Il Sung, he said, and went on:

The fraternal relations of friendship between the two countries have long historical roots.

H.E. Generalissimo Kim Il Sung gave moral and material help to the national liberation struggle of the Cambodian people.

H.E. Generalissimo Kim Jong Il also sent support and solidarity to the just cause of Cambodia.

The Cambodian government and people remember this and express heart-felt thanks for this.

H.E. dear respected Kim Jong Un pays close attention to the development of the friendly relations between the two countries.

We will make efforts to develop the friendly and cooperative relations with the DPRK in different fields in the future, too.
