Present there were Ju Yong Il, chairman of the Association of Elders for Korean Cultural Tradition, and other Koreans in Uzbekistan.

The participants laid a floral basket and bouquets before the portrait of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il at the DPRK embassy in Tashkent and paid tribute to them.

Ju Yong Il in a speech said that the President always showed deep loving care for overseas Koreans, adding he could never forget the kind-looking image and noble virtue of the President who used to receive compatriots visiting the homeland.

Ju expressed belief that the cause of building a thriving nation and reunifying the country will surely be achieved thanks to the dear respected Kim Jong Un identical to the President.

The participants looked round photos showing the immortal revolutionary career of the President and watched a Korean film dealing with his great revolutionary life.
