The British and German branches of the Korean Friendship Association and the Thailand-DPRK Friendship Association in their statements noted the adoption of the July 4 Joint Statement by the north and the south of Korea 40 years ago was a shining fruition of energetic activities of President Kim Il Sung who devoted his all to national reunification.

The statements said that it was under the wise leadership of great Kim Jong Il that the historic June 15 North-South Joint Declaration the core of which is "By our nation itself" and the October 4 declaration, its implementing program, were adopted through the effort for implementing the Three Principles of National Reunification.

Korea's reunification will be certainly achieved as there are the line of national reunification indicated by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, and the seasoned leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un, they added.

Sazhi Umalatova, chairwoman of the Party for Peace and Unity of Russia, Minik Lal Shrestha, chairman of the Nepalese Committee for Supporting the Reunification of Korea and chairman of the Nepal-Korea Friendship Association, and Torbjorn Bjorkman, acting chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association, in their statements said the July 4 Joint Statement adopted under the energetic leadership of the President opened a bright prospect for reunification for the Korean people.

They expressed full support and solidarity with the DPRK in its efforts to realize the country's reunification by thoroughly implementing the north-south joint declarations under the banner of the three principles of national reunification.
