KBS recalled that a few days ago MPs of the U.S. forces handcuffed innocent south Koreans outside the Osan U.S. air base in Kyonggi Province and tried to take them away.

The U.S. forces' side claimed that they were performing their duties, but their action was obviously an exceeding of authority, overreaction and far-fetched one, KBS said.

The GIs committed such illegal action because of very ambiguous provisions of "SOFA," it noted, stressing the need for drastic revision of "SOFA".
