At the talk the president expressed his belief that the Korean people would win victory in building a thriving socialist nation and accomplishing the cause of the independent and peaceful reunification of the country under the wise leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

The friendly ties between the two parties, countries and peoples were provided by Kaysone Phomvihane and President Kim Il Sung, he said.

He added Lao people will always stand by the Korean people in their struggle for safeguarding the revolutionary gains, expressing his will to make positive efforts for developing the bilateral traditional relations of friendship and cooperation.
