The creative group introduces new styles into every sector of the performance such as gymnastics, dancing, music, background stand and lighting.

Choe Chun Hui, an actress of the National Folk Art Troupe, told KCNA:

"Whenever watching the performance 'Arirang' at the stadium or on TV, I envied its performers. But, now I am one of them.

I will do my best to improve my artistic ability in dance and contribute to making the performance successful."

Yu Su Jong, a student at Pyongyang College of Electricity, said:

"A choreographer as well as my parents would tell me to be good at the performance preparation so as to display the true picture of prosperous DPRK.

Now I am ready to perform any detailed action. Through the rehearsal, I have come to feel again how strong the teamwork is."

Kim Hak Jun, a student at Pyongyang Taesin Secondary School, said:

"At the performance I have to perform heavy gymnastics. At first, I was afraid of performing gymnastics on the bar. But, the help of teachers and classmates made me able to conduct any movement without error.

I will show my attractive movements at the forthcoming performance."

The grand gymnastic and artistic performance "Arirang" now under preparation will represent the 100-year history of victory and glory covered by the Korean people under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il. The performance is to begin on Aug. 1.
