A joint decision of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea, the Central Military Commission of the WPK and the National Defence Commission and the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK on awarding the title of the DPRK Marshal to him was read out at the meeting.

The floor was taken by Ri Myong Su, minister of People's Security, KPISF Generals Yun Hui Hwan and Ri Hi Su and non-commissioned officer Kim Chol Hun.

The speakers offered the highest glory and the warmest congratulations to Marshal Kim Jong Un, reflecting the excited feelings of all the KPISF service personnel upon the joyous news of holding him in high esteem as Marshal of the DPRK.

They said that the title awarded to him is a token of absolute trust and loyalty of the whole army and all the people and an event of great significance in ushering in a new heyday of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il's Korea.

With Kim Jong Un held in high esteem at the highest post of the party, state and army, the Korean revolution could firmly ensure the purity and continuity despite the grim tempests of history, give full play to the invincible might of Korean-style socialism and open a grand history of another 100 years of Juche era, they noted.

They said he is a peerlessly great man and the great sun of Songun Korea who is leading the revolutionary cause of Juche and the Songun revolutionary cause to a brilliant victory with his distinguished political ability and noble leadership trait.

All the KPISF service personnel will concentrate all efforts in their work for people's security upon inheriting the tradition of devotedly defending the leader and more thoroughly establish the monolithic commanding system of the supreme commander in the whole army, they said.

They will ensure the absolute authority and prestige of the peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu in every way and reliably defend the single-minded unity of all the service personnel and people in order to cope with the grave situation in which the enemies have gone reckless, daring hurt the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK, they added.

A resolution was adopted at the meeting.

The participants in the meeting held a dancing party in reflection of the unanimous minds of all the service personnel of the KPISF extending the greatest glory and congratulations to Kim Jong Un.
