Kim in the message said that her election was an expression of high trust and expectation of regional countries' people who are making positive efforts to settle by their own efforts the continent's issue free from outsiders' interference and realize peace, stability and development of Africa.

He reiterated the firm stand of the DPRK government to positively develop friendly and cooperative relations with the AU and its member states, wishing the chairwoman success in her responsible work for the development of the AU.
