S. Korean Regime's Aim through "Unification Jar" Disclosed

Pyongyang, July 20 (KCNA) -- The south Korea regime is intent on raising "unification" fund from the people through "unification jar." When the "Ministry of Unification" baked the "jar" at a kiln site of North Kyongsang Province, the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors opened a website to give wide publicity to it. On July 16 traitor Lee donated his salary, talking nonsense that "unification drew so near." The "unification jar" raised by the Lee regime for the purport of raising "unification fund" reflects its dangerous plot to escalate confrontation with the DPRK. It is a replica of "unification tax" fabricated by it to build up public opinion over the policy of confrontation between social systems. The "unification tax" put forth by Lee in 2010 was bitterly denounced and rebuffed immediately after it was brought up for its potential danger of escalating confrontation. The recent "jar" campaign is aimed to realize the regime's scenario to stifle the DPRK without fail. It envisions keeping the money in its pocket and thus binding hand and foot the south side organizations and businesses that conduct cooperation and exchange in reliance on the fund and blocking inter-Korean cooperation and exchange. To this end, the "Ministry of Unification" proposed "draft amendment to a law on south-north cooperation foundation" the core of which is to create a "unification jar" as a separate thing within the foundation last year, and employed all gamut of ploys to railroad it through the "National Assembly" session. Lurking behind the regime's deep concern for the "jar" is an aim to redress its failure in confrontation policy on the verge of total bankruptcy. Lee, tightly cornered at home and abroad, is trying to create impression that he is interested in the reunification issue and is whitewashing his bankrupt confrontation policy, while donating to the "jar" though its true colors have already been disclosed. However, with nothing can the Lee regime cover up the nature of confrontation policy against reunification. |
