Friendly Football Matches between DPRK, China

| Pyongyang, July 22 (KCNA) -- U-16 friendly football matches between the DPRK and China took place in Pyongyang on Friday and Sunday. The Chinese team won the first match and the second match ended with draw. Both teams are to participate in the 2012 Asian U-16 Soccer Championship, which will be held in Iran two months later. In group C league matches, the DPRK team will play with south Korea on Sept. 23, Saudi Arabia on the 25th and Japan on the 27th. The Chinese team belongs to group D. The DPRK took the title in the 2010 Asian U-16 Soccer Championship. |
