Involved in the drill are the headquarters of the anti-aircraft brigade in charge of air defence above Moscow and the industrial zone in the central Russia, anti-aircraft missile regiments, about 800 troops of radio technology sub-units and at least 100 pieces of combat technical hardware.

The two-stage drill is aimed to help the soldiers train the ability of annihilating ballistic and other targets flying in high and low altitudes with C-300, C-400 and other missile complexes.

This was clarified by a spokesman for the air space defence forces of Russia.
