Present at the meeting were Chairman Ho Jong Man and other officials of the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon, officials of the headquarters, chapters, organizations and enterprises of Chongryon.

Nam Sung U, vice-chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, read out a congratulatory message sent by the dear respected Kim Jong Un to the participants in the meeting.

He said that the message from Marshal Kim Jong Un serves as the important guidelines and invincible treasured sword helping Chongryon steadily advance the movement of Koreans in Japan along the way of Juche, patriotic way for prosperity, true to the behests of Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

The purpose of the meeting is to generalize the achievements and experience gained in the work of Chongryon chapters, drastically intensify and expand the emulation drive among chapters and thus present the report of victory to the eternal leader Kim Jong Il and make firm loyalty pledge to Kim Jong Un, the reporter said.

He added the emulation drive among Chongryon chapters is conscientious and patriotic one to carry out the behests of Generalissimo Kim Jong Il and to ensure the happiness of Koreans in Japan and posterity.

He called upon the officials of the Chongryon chapters to bear in mind the deep loving care and firmly believe in Marshal Kim Jong Un, symbol of invincibility, and advance toward the final victory despite storm and stress.

Chongryon chapters are bases of the patriotic movement of Koreans in Japan for rallying them and protecting their national identity and rights, as well as units of their living.

On April 6, 30 chapters of Chongryon called for the emulation drive among chapters. Only three months later, 121 chapters of Chongryon involving about 85 percent of Koreans in Japan have taken part in the drive, becoming a new mass movement unprecedented in a matter of three months.
