Rodong Sinmun Slams U.S. Anti-DPRK War Moves

Pyongyang, July 23 (KCNA) -- Recently the U.S. secretary of Defence made a provocative remark that north Korea's "instable act" is "one of vast provocations" that the world now faces. The U.S. assistant secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs said they will draw an "international responding line" to head off north Korea's "additional provocation". The U.S. secretary of State said the "way of provocation" by north Korea "is a grave threat to the security in Asia and the rest of the world". These words are being snowballed by hostile forces to the north such as Japan and south Korean puppet regime and good-for-nothings as well. Rodong Sinmun Monday in a bylined article says their assertions are impudent rhetoric of provokers who can recklessly do everything for their sinister political aim. It is the ultimate goal of the U.S. imperialists to ensnare the DPRK into a trap of international isolation by picking on it and to stifle its socialist system by force, the article said. Its goal is to bring pressure to countries neighboring the DPRK, said the article, adding: What should not be overlooked is that the U.S., Japan and south Korea recently waged combined naval drills around the Jeju Island of south Korea. This was unprecedented, very dangerous military trend. The U.S. is related with Japan and south Korea respectively by military alliance. If Japan-south Korea military ties are formed, the triangular military alliance would be completed. Under this situation crystal clear is their aim of waging the combined naval drills involving the three parties. The second Korean war looms closer due to the U.S. efforts. The U.S. nearly finished its strategy of "pacification" in the Mid-east region and now is going to turn its spearhead to the DPRK. However, its criminal aim can never come true. The DPRK does not want a war, but if the U.S. ignites another unjust war, the DPRK will react to it with just war. |
