Korean in U.S. Marks Anniversary of Demise of Kim Il Sung
Pyongyang, July 23 (KCNA) -- Minjok Thongsin, Internet paper of Koreans in the U.S., on July 7 carried an article dedicated by its Representative Ro Kil Nam to the 18th anniversary of the demise of President Kim Il Sung.

The article said that though the President passed away, he still lives in the hearts of the fellow countrymen in the north, overseas Koreans and the world progressives amid their ardent reverence for him.

It was his motto to believe in the people as in Heaven, the article noted, praising him for defeating two outrageous imperialisms in one generation in reliance on the people and building socialism of Juche, the country for the people.

He protected the country's sovereignty with his own efforts for decades while standing against the U.S., and worked day and night to reunify the divided country, it added, and went on:

Kim Jong Il, chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission (NDC), held the President in high esteem as the eternal leader and successfully carried forward his revolutionary cause.

Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army Kim Jong Un made sure that leader Kim Jong Il is being held in high esteem as eternal chairman of the NDC.

The DPRK fully demonstrates the might of the single-minded unity of the leader, the party, the army and the people under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

It has already emerged as political, ideological and military power, arts and musical power and cutting-edge scientific and technological power.

The world watches with concerned eyes the DPRK successfully carrying out the last instructions of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.
