From 18:00 Sunday to 09:00 Monday, 218 mm rainfalls were registered in Taegwan County, 194 mm in Chonma County, 183 mm in Tongchang County, 170 mm in Kusong City, 162 mm Ryongchon County and 151 mm Phihyon County, North Phyongan Province and 174 mm in Songwon County, Jagang Province.

It also rained more than 100 mm in several areas including Sinuiju City and Sonchon, Changsong, Uiju and Pyokdong counties in North Phyongan Province.

In particular, 79 mm and 53 mm of heavy rain fell in Tongchang County and Sinuiju City respectively from 21:00 to 23:50 Sunday, 114 mm in Ryongchon County from 00:00 to 02:00 Monday, 81 mm in Taegwan County from 01:00 to 02:55, 66 mm in Tongchang County from 03:00 to 05:00, 34 mm in Kusong and 32 mm in Unsan County from 05:00 to 06:00 and 50 mm in Kophung County, Jagang Province from 00:30 to 03:00 Monday.

A wind measuring over 10 meters per second swept Chonma, Sonchon, Tongrim and Yomju counties, North Phyongan Province.

More torrential rainfalls are expected in those areas.
