Present there were officials of local party and power bodies and working people's organizations, the Ministry of Railways and its affiliated units, working people and youth and students.

Conveyed there was a decision of the Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea, the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK on awarding the title of DPRK Marshal to Kim Jong Un.

Speeches were made at the meetings.

The speakers said that the decision on awarding the title of DPRK Marshal to Kim Jong Un was a great event to be specially recorded in the history of the WPK and the revolution and that it is of great significance in the struggle for accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche.

Under his wise leadership the WPK has strengthened into the glorious party of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and the powerful guiding force of the Songun revolution, they noted.

They called upon officials, party members and other working people to regard Kim Jong Il's patriotism as their faith, dynamically push forward the general advance in the new 100 years of the Juche era and bring about a turn in developing economy and improving the standard of people's living.

They stressed that the revolution of the DPRK is invincible as long as there are the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un, the ever-victorious party, the great unity of army and people, the unchallenged revolutionary army of Mt. Paektu and powerful self-supporting economy, which are precious revolutionary legacies of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.
