Present at the wreath-laying ceremony were members of the Russian delegation headed by its Senior Vice President Valery Reshetnikov, Russian Ambassador to the DPRK Alexandr Timonin and other staff members of the Russian embassy here.

They placed the wreath before the tower in the name of the delegation before observing a moment's silence in honor of the martyrs of the Soviet Army who took part in battles to liberate Korea.

They went round the tower.
