Talks between Security Delegations of DPRK, China Held
Beijing, July 24 (KCNA) -- Talks were held between delegations of the DPRK Ministry of People's Security and the Ministry of Public Security of China in Beijing on Tuesday.

Present at the talks from the DPRK side were the visiting delegation of the Ministry of People's Security led by Minister Ri Myong Su and DPRK Ambassador to China Ji Jae Ryong and from the Chinese side the delegation of the Ministry of Public Security led by Minister Meng Jianzhu and officials concerned.

At the talks Meng Jianzhu asked Ri Myong Su to convey warm greetings of the Chinese party, government, people and security officials to Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the Workers' Party, army and people of the DPRK.

Recalling with deep emotion that general secretary Kim Jong Il met him during his visit to the DPRK last year, Meng said he is yearning for Kim Jong Il.

Kim Jong Il always lives in minds of both Korean and Chinese people for his great exploits performed for socialist construction of Korea and the development of the Sino-DPRK friendship, he stressed.

He extended warm congratulations to Kim Jong Un on receiving the title of DPRK Marshal.

He expressed the belief that the friendly relations between the two countries would further develop on good terms under the care of Kim Jong Un.

The talks proceeded in a cordial atmosphere. Both sides discussed further developing cooperation between the security organs of the two countries and exchanged views of matters of mutual concern.
