A decision of the Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea, the DPRK National Defence Commission and the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly on awarding the title to him was read out at the meetings.

Speakers said awarding the title to him is a manifestation of the fixed will of all servicepersons and people to bring earlier the bright future of prosperity under his leadership.

The DPRK could give full play to the indestructible might of Korean-style socialism and usher in the gigantic history of another 100 years of the Juche era as it is holding him in the van of the party, state and army, they noted.

They called for advancing toward the final victory of the Juche revolution with confidence, united around him in single mind, and thus demonstrating the heroic stamina of Songun Korea.
