In the message Kim Yong Nam, upon receiving the sad news that Ghanaian President John Evans Atta Mills died of an illness regretfully, expressed deep condolences to the president and, through him, to the government and people of Ghana and the bereaved families.

He hoped that the friendly government and people of Ghana would overcome the sorrow and achieve prosperity and development of the country.
