The statement said that the U.S. imperialists suffered defeat in the Korean War for the first time in its history of aggression wars.

The DPRK's victory in the war was the fruition of the brilliant military strategy and idea of President Kim Il Sung, who wisely led the just struggle of the Korean people, it said, and went on:

Under the wise guidance of the President the Korean people created world-startling miracles in the post-war rehabilitation and construction and built a powerful country through strenuous efforts for socialist construction.

Leader Kim Jong Il took deep care of the war veterans and his love is being carried forward by the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The conferment of the title of DPRK Marshal upon Kim Jong Un is the reflection of the unanimous desire of the Korean people to accomplish the idea and cause of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, the eternal leaders, and their boundless reverence for him.

The Finland-Korea Society strongly demands the U.S. end at once its illegal military presence in south Korea, make an apology for the crimes committed during the Korean War and respond to the proposal for signing a peace agreement as early as possible.
