Present there were Kil Chol Hyok, vice-chairman of the C.C., the youth league, Chae Il Ryong, vice-chairman of the Kangwon Provincial People's Committee, officials concerned and campers' groups of Russia, China, Mongolia and Vietnam and the campers' group of Korean schoolchildren.

Participants laid floral baskets and bouquets before the statue of President Kim Il Sung at the camp before paying tribute to him.

A congratulatory address, a report and speeches were made at the ceremony.

During the camping the campers will train their body and mind and deepen feelings of friendship while conducting sea activities, sports and amusement games, "day of nation" and other colorful extracurricular activities.
