Chinese Party Delegation Lays Wreath before Friendship Tower

| Pyongyang, August 2 (KCNA) -- A delegation of the International Liaison Department of the C.C., the Communist Party of China led by its Head Wang Jiarui laid a wreath before the Friendship Tower on Thursday. Present there were Ri Yong Chol, vice department director of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea, and Guan Huabing, minister of the Chinese embassy here. A wreath was placed before the tower in the name of the delegation. The participants observed a moment's silence to the memory of the fallen fighters of the Chinese People' Volunteers who bravely fought on the Korean front against the U.S. imperialists' invasion, before looking round the tower. |
