Local Factories of DPRK Run on Normal Basis
Pyongyang, August 2 (KCNA) -- Local factories in Jagang Province, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea are keeping their operation at full capacity through a technical improvement drive.

Usi County stands in the van of the provincial modernization drive. The county has successfully streamlined and computerized the production processes at various industrial establishments, including foodstuff factory, chemical and earthenware factories and paper mill.

Manpho City and Tongsin County finished updating their foodstuff, drinks and chemical factories.

The Chosan Wine Factory has built a pit depot with capacity of several hundred tonnes to ensure production of quality wine.

The industrial factories in Hwaphyong County have directed big efforts to raising the quality of their products.

The Kanggye Essential Foodstuff Factory, Janggang Drinks Factory and Huichon Daily Necessities Production Cooperative secured abundant raw materials necessary for keeping production going on a normal basis.

Pak Myong Gil, chief engineer of the Usi Foodstuff Factory, told KCNA that he would do his best for the improvement of people's livelihood, true to the noble intention of the dear respected Kim Jong Un, who cares so much for the people's wellbeing.
