On July 27, 1953 is the significant day when the Korean people defeated the U.S. imperialists under the wise leadership of Generalissimo Kim Il Sung, the deputy general secretary noted, adding:

Under the wise leadership of Generalissimo Kim Jong Il, the DPRK turned into a nuclear weapons state which the U.S. and other imperialists dare not provoke.

The DPRK has a bright and rosy future as it is led by Kim Jong Un and the human cause of independence is sure to be accomplished.

The chairman of the Nider Sachsen State Committee of the Communist Party of Germany and other speakers said at the meetings it is great honor and pleasure not only for the Korean people but for the world progressives that the title of DPRK Marshal was conferred upon Kim Jong Un.

The vice-president of the France-Korea Friendship Association said in a lecture that Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il were great patriots and the lodestar of national reunification.

A congratulatory message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at a meeting in Germany.
