The article said that the Korean people boundlessly revere Generalissimo Kim Il Sung, an iron-willed commander who defeated two imperialisms in one generation and paragon of the anti-imperialist struggle, and Generalissimo Kim Jong Il who protected socialism and sovereignty of the country with his unique Songun politics.

We warmly congratulate the army and people of the DPRK greeting the 59th war victory day, the article noted, adding:

We firmly believe that the Korean people will win victory after victory in the struggle for socialism and national reunification and implementing the cause of independence against imperialism holding aloft the banner of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism under the wise leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un, supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, who is successfully carrying forward the Juche cause, Songun cause.
