U.S., S. Korea Urged to Behave Themselves
|

Pyongyang, August 3 (KCNA) -- The recent statements issued by a spokesman for the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea respectively declared before the world that the DPRK would wipe out by dint of Songun the U.S. and the Lee Myung Bak regime of south Korea that dare hurt the dignity of the supreme leadership, social system and people of the DPRK. Rodong Sinmun Friday says in a bylined commentary in this regard: This represents the towering resentment of the DPRK army and people and their will to take revenge upon the enemies. The recent action taken by the DPRK is an entirely legitimate measure in the light of DPRK law and international law on human rights and counter-terrorism. The operations to lure and abduct residents of the DPRK and hideous politically-motivated terrorism are organized and premeditated crimes of the U.S. and the south Korean puppet regime, to all intents and purposes. The anti-DPRK plots being hatched by them, talking about "defectors to the south" and "human rights performance in the north," are a revelation of their sinister scenario to break its single-minded unity and bring down its social system, the commentary notes, and goes on: Now that it is clear the U.S. is the base of state-sponsored politically-motivated terrorism against the DPRK and the Lee regime is its executor, it is quite natural for the DPRK army and people to take the toughest counter-action to eliminate the root cause of terrorism. The DPRK army and people can never remain passive onlookers to this grave situation where the U.S. and the Lee regime persist in their operations to lure and abduct its residents and even resort to such gruesome terrorism intended to hurt the dignity of its supreme leadership in wanton violation of international law. There would be no one in the world who would show leniency towards a robber trying to kill one with a dagger. The DPRK's practical strong physical retaliatory offensive admits of no argument as it is an exercise of the right to self-defence. Criminals should own responsibility for their crimes. The U.S. and the Lee regime had better behave themselves, pondering over the catastrophic consequences to be entailed by their anti-DPRK criminal operations and subversive and sabotage activities and the ensuing miserable fate. |
