A ceremony of conveying the medal took place in the Maritime Territory on July 26.

Present there were figures of political parties, social bodies and media in the territory and Vladivostok City and the consul general and staff members of the DPRK consulate general in Nakhodka.

The chairman of the war veterans committee handed the medal and its diploma to the DPRK consul general.

The chairman said that the medal reflects the humble wishes of the Russian war veterans for the steady development of the friendship between the two peoples under the leadership of Kim Jong Un. He added that it also reflects the best wishes of the Russian people for the good health of Kim Jong Un, the head of state, for the peace and stability in the Korean Peninsula and the rest of Northeast Asia.

Then followed congratulatory speeches.
