DPRK's War Victory Day Marked by Foreign Papers

Pyongyang, August 4 (KCNA) -- Foreign newspapers carried special write-ups and articles on July 27, the 59th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the Fatherland Liberation War (Korean War). The Uruguayan newspaper La Juventud dedicated one whole page to a special write-up under the headline "On the 59th war victory day of the DPRK, the great history of war victory over U.S. imperialism will be ever-lasting" with a picture of President Kim Il Sung. In several articles the paper said that the victory in the three-year war was the victory of the Juche idea, Songun idea which values and loves the people over the idea of invasion and misanthropy. The young DPRK and its people could defeat the U.S. because there were the outstanding military wisdom, strategy and tactics and combat method of Kim Il Sung, it said, elaborating on them. Generalissimo Kim Jong Il inherited the brilliant tradition of patriotism and firmly protected the socialist country and the revolution in the revolutionary war without gunfire for decades, thus laying a precious foundation for accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche, it said, and went on; Today the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un is leading the Korean revolution. The army and people of the DPRK advancing to a final victory rallied close behind him in one mind will carry forward the history and tradition of the war victory for all ages. The Vietnamese newspaper Cuu Chien Binh ran an article titled "War Victory Day of the DPRK". It said that the Korean people achieved the war victory, making contribution to defending the world peace and stability and frustrating the wild ambition of the U.S. imperialists. The Nepali newspaper Weekly Mirror carried an article titled "North Korea or U.S., Who Is Devil?" disclosing the barbarous crimes committed by the U.S. imperialists during the Korean War. The Nigerian newspaper Nigerian Observer on July 28 carried an article "Kim Jong Un, Meaning of Panmunjom Inspection" which stressed that no one will dare provoke the DPRK led by supreme leader Kim Jong Un. |
