Local Industries Prove Effective in N. Hwanghae Province
|
|
Pyongyang, August 6 (KCNA) -- North Hwanghae Province, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, has paid big efforts to operating local factories on a high level. Yonthan County has computerized production processes of some factories. Its foodstuff factory has steadily boosted production after technological updating. The county mass-produces toilet paper and Tongbaek-trademarked hair oil with locally available raw materials. Yonsan County built a caustic soda factory by itself to supply enough caustic soda to paper and foodstuff factories in the area. Its newly-built hydraulic power station helps operate local factories at full capacity. Hwangju County invented a generator fueled by ultra-anthracite and rice chaff so as to supply electricity needed for production of consumer goods. Unpha County built a shop for production of ceiling plastic sheets at its daily necessities factory. Pongsan, Phyongsan and Sohung counties, too, are making big strides in developing local industries. |
