Kim Jong Il formulated the three principles of national reunification, the 10-point programme of the great unity of the whole nation and the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo advanced by Kim Il Sung as the three charters for national reunification.

We are firmly convinced that the party, army and people of the DPRK will surely accomplish the cause of national reunification under the wise leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un who is carrying forward the lofty idea of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il for national reunification.
