Pyongyang, August 7 (KCNA) -- Japanese personages made public statements denouncing the U.S. and south Korean puppet regime for their attempted hideous state-sponsored and politically-motivated terrorism against the DPRK. The acting chairman of the Hokkaido Citizens' Council for Japan-Korea Solidarity referred to the fact that a criminal intruded into the DPRK to blow up statues, which represent the dignity of the supreme leadership the DPRK, and its grand monuments only to be detected and arrested. The criminal was interviewed by journalists on July 19 where he admitted his treason, the acting chairman added. There have been various cases due to the U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK but the gravity of the recent attempted terrorism lies in that it was pushed forward at the U.S. will and by its funding, the acting chairman said, adding: The criminal and government authorities who were involved in the above-said terrorism should be well aware of its criminal nature. An honorary professor of Saitama University noted that the U.S. is the backstage manipulator of the hideous terrorism against the DPRK, stressing the struggle for independence against imperialism is the way for peace. Kenichi Ogami, secretary general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea, branded the moves to destroy the DPRK's statues and monuments as last-ditch efforts of the U.S. imperialists and south Korean reactionary ruling quarters in collusion with them. The attempted terrorism is touching off anger of people of all countries, he said, adding: Those involved in the mean plot should face most stern judgement of history. There is no doubt that the U.S. imperialists are fast falling into the abyss of ruin. |
