Japan's Moves for Dispatching Troops for Overseas Aggression under Fire
|
|
Pyongyang, August 8 (KCNA) -- The U.S.-led multinational mine-sweeping exercises will be staged in Persian Gulf in mid-September. In this regard the Japanese Ministry of Defense decided some days ago to dispatch a mine-sweeping unit of the Maritime "Self-Defense Force". Japan is making poor excuses that it is aimed at "contributing to defending the security of major sea lanes". Minju Joson says in a bylined commentary on Wednesday in this regard: This is nothing but a deception to loosen the vigilance of world public against Japan's dispatch of military forces. Talking about so-called "rule of law", Japan is mulling dispatching its armed forces to the Persian Gulf area far away from it in breach of the "Pacifist Constitution" which disallows its military activities abroad and exercise of the right of collective self-defense. Explicitly speaking, the situation in the Persian Gulf area is not directly linked with Japan's security. Japan is a war criminal state which was defeated while getting hell-bent on aggression of other countries and plunder of colonies in the past. It committed before the international community not to have the army as armed forces for aggression but abandon the right to war and confine military activities entirely to defense of the country. But the Japanese reactionaries are taking the road for overseas expansion in an undisguised way, throwing away the commitment like an old pair of shoes. Any "international contribution" touted by Japan is, in essence, a grave threat and provocation against world peace and security. They should stop at once the criminal act of seeking overseas expansion under the deceptive slogans of "peace" and "security". |
