National Symposium on Medical Science Held

| Pyongyang, August 8 (KCNA) -- A national symposium on the medical science was held at the Grand People's Study House between August 7 and 8 to mark the 45th anniversary of the publication of the President Kim Il Sung's work "On Developing the Pharmaceutical and Medical Instrument Industries". The work, published on June 6, 1967, specifies the task and ways for developing the pharmaceutical and medical instrument industries. The symposium was held, divided into four panels such as pharmacy, Koryo medicine, pharmaceutics and medical instrument. There presented about 380 treatises. Some of them attracted interest of participants as they settled problems arising in studying and developing medicine and medical instrument and putting their production on a modern and scientific basis. |
