Abdullahi Muhammad Yamma, chairman of the Nigerian Group for Self-Reliance Studies, referred to the fact that Kim Jong Il formulated the three charters for national reunification.

President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il dedicated themselves to national reunification, the greatest desire of the Koreans, all their life, the chairman said, adding:

The dear respected Kim Jong Un made sure that the stand of national independence and the stand of giving priority to the nation were firmly preserved, regarding it as the most urgent task of the nation to achieve the reunification of the country, true to the noble intention of the preceding leaders.
