More Crimes of Japanese Imperialists Disclosed
Pyongyang, August 10 (KCNA) -- 35 materials disclosing crimes the Japanese imperialists perpetrated by imposing great misfortunes and sufferings upon the Korean people in the past are added to the House of Class Education in Ryanggang Province.

Among them are photos, newspaper clippings, materials and testimonies made by victims revealing the brutal atrocities committed by the Japanese imperialists in the area of Ryanggang Province during their military occupation of Korea and their plunder of timber and underground resources from the province.

Articles dealing with "the incident in which they set fire on more than 80 houses" and "the incident in which they expelled more than a thousand fire-field farmers" and other cases were carried by Dong-A Ilbo at that time. They disclose the monstrous crimes perpetrated by the Japanese imperialists in a mountainous village in Pochon area. They brutally killed innocent people and reduced dwelling houses to ashes.

There are also testimonies made by victims disclosing the fact that a lot of Koreans were forced to do slave labor and met miserable deaths at the construction site of the Ryonduphyong dam of Phungso at that time and materials on them. They clearly prove that the Japanese imperialists were, indeed, the most savage man-killers.

Different exhibits and materials deal with facts that the Japanese imperialists cut a lot of trees in the area of Ryanggang Province and transported timber by use of rafts and railways and looted underground resources in different parts of the province, a clear indication of their aggressive and predatory nature.
