The exhibition served as a significant occasion in furthering cooperation among countries and regions in machine industry.

Liao Jun, a manager of the Chee Siang Sewing Machine (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. in China, told KCNA:

"I am pleased at having closed trade deals with some businesses in the DPRK.

Many visitors paid deep attention to sewing machines presented by my company."

Tang Haiming, a manager of the company, said he could get a better understanding of the Koreans' likings through the exhibition.

Ken Quek Yew Chye, director of the Calpeda Asia Pacific Pte Ltd. in Singapore, said:

"Our company has come here with various kinds of pumps. I feel satisfied over having business with DPRK companies in this field.

My company will continue to attend the Pyongyang exhibition to invigorate trade activities with the DPRK."

Meanwhile, CNC lathes, mining machinery and metal cutting tools presented by the Ryonha Machinery Company and the General Machinery Trading Corporation of the DPRK attracted interest of foreign businessmen.

And a solar water heater manufactured by the Solar Equipment Development Center of the DPRK won a high appreciation at the exhibition.
