The construction of the okdang production process further rounded off the material and technical foundation of the factory and laid groundwork for putting the production and management on a more scientific basis.

Its inaugural ceremony took place on Friday.

Present there were Mun Kyong Dok, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and chief secretary of the Pyongyang City Committee of the WPK, Ri Mu Yong, vice-premier of the Cabinet, Jo Yong Chol, minister of Foodstuff and Daily Necessities Industry, officials concerned and employees of the factory.

An inaugural address was made to be followed by speeches.

At the end of the inaugural ceremony the participants went round the shop.
