Referring to the fact that they are going to stage Ulji Freedom Guardian on August 20, the statement said:

The projected drills will involve not only huge forces of the U.S. and south Korea but service members from those countries which had dispatched their troops to the last Korean War and even the offensive means deployed in the area along the Military Demarcation Line recently. This makes clear the fact that the projected saber-rattling will be an offensive to pressurize the north and all-out war maneuvers.

He urged the U.S. and the south Korean authorities to cancel the plan at once, admitting that with no rhetoric can they conceal their black-hearted intention.
